LONG BIO

Tito Da Fire is a boundary-breaking Afro-fusion artist whose voice and artistry resonates on the Grammy® Nominated Best Contemporary Blue Album Category, “The Fury” by Antonio Vergara in the 2025 Nominations. His music transcends time, culture, and genre. With a sound rooted in Afrobeats, Pop, World music, Reggae,, and R&B, his work is enriched by African percussion and storytelling. Tito first gained fame as one-half of the popular Nigerian duo Gent2Men, best known for their hit song “Majekaja.” Raised in Ganta, where his musical journey began, Tito was heavily influenced by the sounds of Pop, R&B, Reggae, and Country music played by his mother. He started performing at high school gigs before taking his talent to bigger stages.

Tito’s solo career took off with the release of his debut album “Graduation Day”, which featured notable collaborations with rapper MI. His sophomore album, “One Kiss”, showcased his versatility and global reach, including collaborations with Grammy Award-winners Beenie Man and Wouter Kellerman. The album also featured the legendary Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti further cementing Tito’s place in the Afro-fusion genre. He released OSG (On The Shoulders of Giants) 12-track Album to rave reviews in 2022 and proceeded on a USA tour.

Tito’s performance résumé is as impressive as his discography. He performed at Nigeria’s Presidential Villa, Aso Rock, and represented Nigeria in India Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s World Yoga Day on the “Gratitude Song”. In October 2019, he performed to a standing ovation at Johannesburg’s Orbit alongside Wouter Kellerman and the Ndlovu Youth Choir. He also delivered show-stopping performances at the One Lagos Fest in Victoria Island and Agege. Tito continued his rise with the release of the dance smash Kokoro in 2021, following his earlier success with the love-themed single “Abibeji” in February of that year. His latest single, “Carry Go” (2024), is an autobiographical reflection on his tour experiences in the USA and has resonated with audiences globally.

As a committed advocate for environmental preservation, Tito has also served as the Brand Ambassador for the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF). His work, both musically and as an Actor and ambassador, embodies a blend of cultural pride and global outreach. Tito Da Fire’ career continues to soar, with his creative collaborations and genre-defying sound establishing him as one of Africa’s most versatile and impactful artists. Whether on stage or in the studio,
Tito Da Fire remains dedicated to showcasing the richness of African music on a global scale.
